THE ‘BIG 4′ MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

In the past 37 years these are the most common questions from customers all over Maine and New England. We have answers here from both our staff and from our customers.. we hope both are helpful.

HOW OFTEN WILL I USE IT?

Adding a hot tub to your backyard is a great investment in your home, family, and health for years to come. Most customers use their spas daily whether as a gathering place to share quality time with loved ones or to relieve stress and ease aches and pains. Hot tubs help you sleep better and can improve heart health. Many people are delighted to start their day with a hot drink in their hot tub! ”

HOW MUCH WORK TO MAINTAIN?

“5 to 10 minutes a week of water care. Monthly filter cleaning .. TRI-X Filters are dishwasher safe! Drain and refill every 4-6 months depending on use”

– Charlene

“Several of our new proprietary sanitization systems, notably the saltwater system, require less labor and less additives, and are much closer to the automation that the hot tub industry has been seeking for decades! Keeping your water clean and refreshing has never been easier.”

– Travis

WHAT DOES IT COST TO BUY & OPERATE?

“The water maintenance costs are a direct proportion to the frequency of use and the sanitization system you choose. Saltwater hot tubs operate for even less on an ongoing monthly basis. Both of these popular systems require equipment updates every 3-5 years.”

– Adam

“As spa owners ourselves, and living in Maine/NH where climate can be severe and costs for electricity high, we have chosen to sell only the most well-insulated, well-engineered hot tubs in our industry. Ask us for our localized ‘Energy Cost Guarantee’, an exact representation of what it can cost in electricity, backed by a “we’ll pay if we’re wrong” guarantee that assures you of an honest disclosure of real electric consumption per model. Ask about the laboratory testing that the California Energy Commission performed and the clear quantitative advantage that the HotSpring brand has over all others!”

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR IT?

“Sometimes, very little. Occasionally, significant preparations will require good weather (spring, summer, fall) and a professional delivery. Most of the time only modest adjustments are needed to insure safety and easy access. Our free no-obligations backyard (in-home) visits are the best way to help a homeowner understand all options. When asked, we can usually be at your home within 48-72 hours to offer our ideas. We often draw up implementation plans that can be put out to bid once a particular unit has been chosen and in most areas we can refer contractors who can do the complete installation after we deliver the product.”
